Nic Di Iorio
Nic Di Iorio is the Founder of NeoDev Technologies, a group focused on technology strategy, organizational development, product definition and execution.
From February 2008 to January 2019, Mr. Di Iorio was the CTO of XO Group Inc. (formerly The Knot Inc.), departing post acquisition by a competitor. Prior to joining XO Group, Mr. Di Iorio was Co-Founder and CEO of City24/7 LLC from October 2006 to January 2008. The company developed and piloted an outdoor media platform delivering content and public services in metropolitan areas starting in NYC. Before that, he was CTO of the Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), from October 2003 to June 2006. Mr. Di Iorio moved into this role after holding the dual role of EVP, CIO of the McCann WorldGroup (a subsidiary of IPG) and CEO of Marketing Communications Technologies Inc. (a subsidiary of the McCann WorldGroup), from April 1995 to September 2003. He joined McCann-Erickson Worldwide in 1995 after spending four years at Young & Rubicam as Corporate VP, IT. Mr. Di Iorio is a multilingual global citizen who has worked and lived in many countries across 4 continents and navigates easily across cultures.
Early in his career, Mr. Di Iorio spent nine years in Research and Development at GTE (1983 – 1985) and AT&T Bell Laboratories (1985 – 1991) working on new technologies in the area of applications development tools, distributed systems, data networking and protocols, computer and networking security, and telecommunications. While at GTE, he was also a Lecturer at Northeastern University on computer architectures and programming.
Mr. Di Iorio holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the City College of New York and an M.S. in Computer Science on a full-time Graduate Fellowship from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering (formerly Polytechnic Institute of New York). He has been published both in trade and academic (IEEE) publications, authored 2 international data communications standards (ISO/IEC 10030 and CCITT X.228) and Chaired a number of international committees (CCITT, ECMA, ISO).
Mr. Di Iorio has been serving as a Mentor to graduate students enrolled in the Executive Master of Technology Management program at Columbia University since 2004. He has also been on the board of a number of privately held (i.e., ExchangeLab International, Jetaport, InnovationsMD, LLC) and publicly listed (i.e., Intelligroup Inc.) companies.
