Tony Stoupas

Tony Stoupas is the former CTO of Lionbridge. In this role, Mr. Stoupas was responsible for driving strategy and innovation across all aspects of Lionbridge’s global technology and security operations. 

Lionbridge, owned by PE firm HIG Capital, partners with brands to break barriers and build bridges all over the world. For more than 20 years, Lionbridge has helped companies connect with global customers by delivering marketing, testing and globalization services in over 300 languages. Lionbridge customers are some of the world’s largest brands. Mr. Stoupas has over 30 years of experience leading technology and information strategy for multi-billion dollar firms. Prior to joining Lionbridge, he served for nearly 10 years as SVP and CIO of Moody’s Corporation, where he was responsible for global technology and services and spearheaded a global technology transformation that supported significant corporate growth. He has also held senior technology roles at UBS and Mellon Financial Corporation.

Tony Stoupas serves on the advisory boards of Blue Optima, .406 Ventures, Evanta, and HMG Strategy. He is also on the Board of Trustees for the Hyde Bronx Leadership Charter School. Since 2010, he has been a mentor and guest lecturer at Columbia University’s Center for Technology Management.

Mr. Stoupas holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Monash University in Australia.
